Back in 1905 my grandfather and his brothers built a little humpy to camp in while building a house on their recently-purchased land. Somebody has just bought the painting I did of it. Humpy oil on canvas 76 cm x 50 cm

This is the headstone of one of my favourite composers - Alfred Schnittke (1934 - 1998). Among heaps of other fabulous music, he created the all-time definitive version of "Silent Night". You don't have to wait until Christmas to listen to it. youtu.be/oJhs0dS61tI #music
