Why are people saying the left need a Joe Rogan? He literally just believes whatever the person in front of him says. Just send people from the left to be on his show.

We already test new vaccines against placebo. But if we also have to do it for modifications of old vaccines, it will mean either never improving our existing vaccines, or testing the improvements by leaving some kids unvaccinated

The U.S. doesn’t need a “perfect” presidential candidate — it needs one who believes in institutions, respects peaceful transitions of power, and tells the truth even when it’s inconvenient. That’s the baseline.

Regardless of the offense, any punishment that’s difficult or impossible to reverse (like executing someone or sending them to a foreign prison) should be undertaken with extreme caution and deliberation, or ideally not at all

I think we should call people what they want to be called and use whatever pronouns they prefer. But I have to admit that putting it in your email signature never seemed useful to me. I never once learned someone’s pronouns from their email.

Not many people are aware of this but there is a crypto index fund, NCIQ, that holds both Bitcoin and Ethereum in proportion to their market caps, so you can get both in one investment. It’s anticipated that additional coins will be added as they get approved

Interesting that Trump has not prioritized making gay marriage illegal. The Republicans seem to have abandoned that issue. So I guess there are some limits?

For a p value of 0.05 (5% odds of being due to random chance), on average, if you do 20 studies, you’ll have one that shows the opposite of the truth.

There is nothing particularly bad about high fructose corn syrup compared to sugar. Sugar contains almost as much or even more fructose than corn syrup. The “fructose bad” studies were done w/ pure fructose and in rodents, and do not apply because we are not rodents and do not consume pure fructose.

Most of the vaccines that kids receive today (diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, measles, mumps, rubella) have been given since the 1970s. The rise in autism cases did not start until the 1990s, and has occurred equally in vaccinated and unvaccinated children.
