I plan to post some stuff about things.
Everything that’s happened in the past 30 years has just been to distract us from Dan Quayle’s scandalous misspelling of “potato.”

Perhaps border patrol agents could focus on patrolling the border

If you try to cook a frog by putting it in cold water, and turning the heat up gradually, the frog will leave once the water gets uncomfortably hot. However, if you boil the water first and then drop the frog in, it will die almost instantly.

Why are people saying the left need a Joe Rogan? He literally just believes whatever the person in front of him says. Just send people from the left to be on his show.

We already test new vaccines against placebo. But if we also have to do it for modifications of old vaccines, it will mean either never improving our existing vaccines, or testing the improvements by leaving some kids unvaccinated

Leaving your own child unvaccinated because you object to an unborn child being aborted in the 1960s is some interesting logic

The U.S. doesn’t need a “perfect” presidential candidate — it needs one who believes in institutions, respects peaceful transitions of power, and tells the truth even when it’s inconvenient. That’s the baseline.

Over 700 protests across all 50 states—Americans are mobilizing against mass federal layoffs, the dismantling of agencies like the CFPB and USAID, and the erosion of democratic norms. The 50501 movement isn’t just about opposition; it’s about defending the institutions that uphold our democracy.

Regardless of the offense, any punishment that’s difficult or impossible to reverse (like executing someone or sending them to a foreign prison) should be undertaken with extreme caution and deliberation, or ideally not at all

This battle over Abrego Garcia is simple. It doesn't matter that he was here illegally. It doesn't matter if he's a gang member or if he's a wife beater (both of which are disputed). It doesn't matter if you think he deserves to be deported or to be in prison. / thread

How can Jan 6 be ok but attacking Teslas isn’t?

How can attacking Teslas be ok but Jan 6 isn’t?

I have the secret answer:

They are both not ok!

We really need Bill Gates to help get a veto-proof majority in 2026

Parents sitting idly by while their kids are exposed to drag queens, all in the guise of “storytelling.” I am of course referring to the Tom Hanks sitcom “Bosom Buddies.”

I think we should call people what they want to be called and use whatever pronouns they prefer. But I have to admit that putting it in your email signature never seemed useful to me. I never once learned someone’s pronouns from their email.

Not many people are aware of this but there is a crypto index fund, NCIQ, that holds both Bitcoin and Ethereum in proportion to their market caps, so you can get both in one investment. It’s anticipated that additional coins will be added as they get approved

Interesting that Trump has not prioritized making gay marriage illegal. The Republicans seem to have abandoned that issue. So I guess there are some limits?

For a p value of 0.05 (5% odds of being due to random chance), on average, if you do 20 studies, you’ll have one that shows the opposite of the truth.

Vitamin A can reduce the mortality of measles, which is great, but not nearly as great as not getting measles to begin with

Don’t demand apologies from people. Let them know you were hurt, and if they want to apologize, they will. A forced apology means nothing.

An entire generation of Americans who are lazy, entitled, and don’t know what it means to sacrifice for their country. The Lost Generation. That’s what they called people born between 1883 and 1900. They only called them that when they were young, of course. When they got old they were heroes.

Post negative things on social media: “You have no right to complain, some people have it way worse!”

Post positive things on social media: “You are making your life seem perfect, that’s the whole problem with social media!”

This is why I only post neutral things.

There is nothing particularly bad about high fructose corn syrup compared to sugar. Sugar contains almost as much or even more fructose than corn syrup. The “fructose bad” studies were done w/ pure fructose and in rodents, and do not apply because we are not rodents and do not consume pure fructose.

Most of the vaccines that kids receive today (diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, measles, mumps, rubella) have been given since the 1970s. The rise in autism cases did not start until the 1990s, and has occurred equally in vaccinated and unvaccinated children.
