It is a delicate balance to address right-wing extremism without undermining democratic principles and social rights through censorship or agenda-driven suppression. Historically, the Democratic Party has championed the protection of free opinion and speech. Even when that speech was Nazism.

Many traditional U.S. allies—like those in Western Europe often favor Democratic administrations, historically, and align more with those values. So when someone like Trump comes in with a more “America First,” unilateral, or transactional approach, it naturally clashes with those preferences.

Elon Musk revealed that SpaceX was required by U.S. environmental regulators to conduct experiments to assess the impact of rocket sonic booms on local seal populations near Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. These experiments involved capturing seals which caused the seals more trauma.

According to the American Action Forum, the Biden administration had imposed nearly $1.4 trillion in regulatory costs on the economy. These regulations span multiple industries, including energy, manufacturing, and finance, and have led to concerns about their impact on businesses and consumers.

Could you provide me with some current examples of deregulation that are taking personal freedoms currently? I feel like we’re suffering from a bit of over regulation honestly. Here’s an example of over regulation that stumps productivity.

My main point was, the main thing that separates us from dictatorship regime, is our freedoms, and ability to innovate. China doesn’t make new things, they steal intellectual property. So we need to make sure not to over regulate, and we also need to celebrate innovation, not shun them.

I’m an independent. But I enjoy having discussions with both liberals, and republicans. And I find that we generally agree on most things. Regulations will definitely be important, it’s also just as important to not over regulate, that way American companies can thrive with boundaries.

I’m not arguing the ethical values of these companies. I’m just saying AI and automation is a good thing that will bring efficiency, which good ethically companies like Aldis for example will hopefully pass to customers. I’m not pro big corporations, only pro AI.

The only markets I can see AI cutting out completely is probably the customer service industry. I would equate this job to paper pushers before computers. But a majority of large companies outsource this work anyway to India, or other countries. I don’t think the impact will be detrimental.

Also, if we use the automation at Walmarts as an example. They still require associates to watch over customers in case they purchase liquor, or have difficulties. Additionally, these machines require maintenance, from mechanics. I would say AI will redistribute jobs in the short term, not replace.

The film "Emilia Pérez" used AI to enhance the singing voice of Karla Sofía Gascón, blending her vocals with those of French pop star Camille to extend her vocal range. Keyword is enhance, not replace. These automated machines allow CVS to pass savings to customers. Take Aldi’s for example.

Yes you can actually. The break through of computing revolutionized industry. These claims your making, where literally made when computers first started becoming popular. AI isn’t taking jobs from writers or artists, it’s enabling them. Plagiarism is an issue regulations can solve.

AI is Americas only savior. China beats us in every other regard. Innovations like AI are the only thing that keep us ahead of the curve. Did computers lay off workers when they were introduced, or did they make individuals more efficient? It will bring more opportunities, even to the working class.

Government agencies often become inefficient as they scale. Restructuring can improve function, even if it means some job reductions. With spending at 36% of GDP, better balance is needed. Is there a proper way to rip a band-aid, I’m not so sure.
