I'm not "afraid of thinking" but I am afraid of how bad many people are at it. Exposure to bad ideas is probably the second biggest factor (after personality) that contributes to extremist politics.

Yeah I think there's a trade-off. Less interaction leads to less conflict, but also limits the exchange of ideas.

I thought about this too. Might cool things down. Reddit is probably a good example of what that looks like tho and reddit is cancer.
