Just read Guardian article re Reform’s policy claims & plan for 100s of 1000s of pple losing settled status here. Did search & found that Yusuf’s parents migrated from Sri Lanka to UK. So … it seems if he’d been in Gov when his parents applied (yes impossible🤣)he’d have agreed they shd be removed🤷🏻♀️

It’s so good to see more anti-racists coming out to challenge the empathy-free crowds ranting outside hotels housing asylum seekers. The Gov is working fast to check people’s asylum rights - odd that no Tory acknowledges they’re doing better that they did after just 1 year 🤔

Why doesn’t the Government allow asylum seekers to work & thereby earn money to rent properties & buy food? I understand there are certain legal issues re this but surely they can be addressed to avoid the current, awful situation where they are targeted & harassed by deeply, un-empathetic people. 🤔

She’s now on hunger strike & nearly on death’s door.
