Still thinking about the Luna moth I saw while hiking Conckles Hollow Nature Preserve last weekend. #moth

A photographer friend of mine helped me go through the film cameras my dad’s dad used to own. I’m excited to try out this simple point and shoot Japanese film camera from 1985! On my third try ordering the right battery for it 😅 but I’m hoping to get it running this week! #filmcamera #photography

My art partner and I have been working on our interpretation of an LGBTQIA+ flag that could fit in a transom window for a while. Finally have all the pieces rough cut, we are excited to solder this piece soon 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I heard it’s #woodpeckerwednesday so here’s my winter visitor and what my trees look like in the aftermath of his work when the weather is warmer. #birds
A male yellow bellied sapsucker hangs from a peanut feeder. He has a buttery yellow belly, a red neck, white and black racing stripes by the eyes, and a red crown. The trunk of a black walnut tree that looks like someone poured water down the front of the trunk, but it’s actually water a minerals from the xylem leaking out of the holes that the sapsucker made.

Am I now obsessed and want to collect more cute isopod pets? Also yes.

Excited to get some things for Leku at the reptile show tomorrow! Plus it’s a blast looking at all the beautiful reptiles, amphibians, and other small creatures! Hoping to get some isopods and a magnetic shelf or two.
