My (American Citizen) Scottish-born friend who is putting her statistical analytics doctorate to use by literally solving world hunger (database will allow for food production in almost any environment) got told by Homeland Security(!?) that if she couldn't justify her grant, she would be booted.

Yesterday, I tried to tell a client that it would be time-consuming to edit an image in the way she wanted (not a denial, just a warning). She tried using AI to do what I told her couldn't be quickly or easily done.

What, on God's green earth, is Trump offering to aid Ukraine with? Why would anyone sign an agreement to let a country pillage her resources, on the hope that her opponent will cease fire - but with no guarantee of that fact? Calling Trump a brilliant negotiator is lauding a resource rapist.

Have to talk to school about boys physically mocking a neurodiverse student and thinking to myself how absurd that is because the man currently presiding over the United States gets REWARDED for doing the same. Why should kids believe us when we say it's not ok, with him sitting in that office?
