I have just finished my first week working as a Speech and Language Therapist in University Hospital Limerick. Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly. Got a puncture cycling home from work and was stressing about how I would get to work tomorrow without my bike. The bike shop had it fixed in 30mins for me. We are so lucky to have it on our road 🚲

Outside of Dublin Limerick City had the highest number of people accessing emergency homeless accommodation in January this year 😢 489 people accessed Council emergency accommodation in the last week in January. I will have a motion at Council to urgently reinstate the no-faults eviction ban

I am thrilled to see Shannon Foynes Port Company announce reinstatement works for the Sailors Home on O’Curry Street. The building was gutted by fire in 2023. The works on restoring this historic building have now commenced and expected to be completed by the end of the year

We had Metro Meeting today where we passed a much needed housing development on this land in Raheen. I raised questions in relation to the Community Liason Committee due to be established in relation to Irish Cement incinerator, an update on Loughmore Canal and presentation of bin bye laws 🗑️
