It's Sunday here (hello from the future!). When you posted this, I was busy cheering on a friend who is running the Melbourne marathon.

I agree with that. The trauma was long-lasting. My uncle, who was in the army in Europe at the end of the war, almost sat shiva for my father when my father married my mother (a Catholic) in 1964 because my father's children would not be Jewish. My aunt (Dad's sister) didn't agree to do it. #HATM
