UPDATE: After 10 days, my luggage is still missing. AirCanada (@aircanada.bsky.social) never contacted me once and now their App with the "bag tracking" feature tells me that they are unable to track it at all and that I should "try with another bag"!

But all is easy, because one can track one's baggage through the App, isn't it, @aircanada.bsky.social ?

Visited it yesterday! To be honest, I especially enjoyed Inuit art, e.g., Billy Gauthier's Swimming Loons and Kananginak Pootoogook's Two caribou.

Another book from Naples, this time on Prakrit alaṅkāraśāstra by Andrew Ollett

My colleagues in Naples gave me a copy of the book on Buddhist epistemology within tantric texts by Serena Saccone and Péter-Dániel Szántó!

I am currently in Cagliari, Sardinia, teaching about Mīmāṃsā and Dharmaśāstra deontics, but also discussing about the historical role of Mīmāṃsā (did Śabara still know about the initial significance of Brāhmaṇa rituals? Did Kātyāyana focus on verbs more than Pāṇini because of Mīmāṃsā ideas?)

This is the metaphor I used at a talk in Naples and will use in my next book on #Veṅkaṭanātha. Basically, if you see only the painting on the right, you are unlikely to doubt its authenticity. But Raphael painted the one on the left and the cloak and the wheel are later additions.

Sant'Apollinare in Sassari (again, late Gothic, and interesting reuse of the Cathedral's architecture, see the octagonal bell tower) and Santa Caterina in Sassari from the outside.

St. Caterina in Sassari. It's noteworthy that there was so much Gothic architecture in the 1500s.

And the area of two temples one on top of the other (the one below cannot be seen from here, but it lies behind the first layer of stones at Monte D'Accoddi (the Menhir on the left of thes second photo is the most ancient part, as it stopped being used ca. 5000 BCE, the upper temple is ca 3.500 BCE

Further evidence from the same city and from immediately outside of it (archaeological burial area "Su Crucifissu Mannu", in use from 3000 BCE to approx. 1600 BCE).

According to my completely unbiased opinion, even the less-known cities in Italy have more beautiful historical sights than entire states in other parts of the world.

This is the result for papers on "Asian philosophy" (as a category) for the next #Eastern_APA. Now, I am sure that this is not the truth and that it has more to do with self-representation, but perhaps it is also telling?
