Easiest way to find kind people is by being one. And you’re right, since my transition I’ve met so many kind people.

Currently I’m staying on a small-holding in West Scotland, helping out with the daily chores, in return for free parking. My van is broken down at the moment so I’m very glad to be allowed to stay here. The lady who owns the property is definitely an earth mother

You’re very kind to say this, thanks. I’m always ready for a gossip, I’m gradually finding my “style”. Looks like I’m an old-style hippy earth-mother, except when I’m not. I haven’t been a proper naughty teenager yet, and that girl quite often breaks out in miniskirts and lace-top stockings.

I’m still learning who I am and being a vanlifer gives me a safe space for self-discovery. Then I can join in with other people with self-confidence
