Me 4hrs later, halfway through setting up the nodes for the texture:

Oh hey look, I actually SCHEDULED a stream! Tomorrow afternoon (3pm CEST) I plan on continuing work on my character model in Blender for a bit, then winding down with some Moonstone Island.

My parents went to a Daiso in Malaysia and found two awesome Mini Brick-like kits!

The Phoenix is stunning... But holy hell is it fragile. I've done a few of these before that had reinforcing bricks in the design, this has BARELY any. Wonderful articulation, though.

I studied A-level psychology (thank you again to the wonderful teacher who convinced me to continue after AS level because I was demoralised by a C-grade), and for the last 3 months have been a recluse due to low mental health.
Seeing this just now *helps*. And made me remember that great teacher.

Having a rough couple of mental health days, but slowly getting there.
Helps that when I woke up from a nap, this was the sight that greeted me- Kite peeping round the wall to check in on me <3

No. Today I'm actually trying to shut out the nagging voices of guilt, and taking an actual day of self-care after being sick with a mild flu for half a week.

Yes, that's a lot of stitch markers, but I SUCK at working with blanket yarn xD

My achievement for today- learning to introduce myself in American Sign Language. Hopefully it's understandable!

I never expected scrapbooking/'junk journaling' to be as chill as it is. Today started with the dragon in the top right, and the 'green' theme continued from there.
