As a Psychologist I always find these interesting - ratings of characters were done by other humans, so there's a bit of wisdom of the crowds that evens things out but doesn't account for individual differences in how we view characters 🤔

That being said, harder to chat to colleagues who work with LLMs (I work more with mathematical models for healthcare etc) - seems to be a bit of an overall nonchalance about the environmental impact specifically!

Agreed - been chatting to friends and family members about this of late and has definitely changed the ways some of them interact with LLMs (and the frequency). Doing a PhD in AI so means they also tend to listen ahaha

Yeah, honestly, UM runners are crazy inspirational. Have a PhD colleague who is training for them. It's crazy how far we can push the human body if we want lol
