The Nintendo artstyle is plain, uninspired, and the actual reason people love it is because the quality of the gameplay the style has been attached to, and the fluidity and the details of the game is appears in, not the style itself.

I will say that I really like the art-style for the human characters in this game. Feels like a nice middle-ground between the closer-to-classic SW/SH style and the newer S/V style.
Hope they can just settle on this look for humans finally

Im not sure if the visuals are much of an upgrade from S/V. These textures are bad. The buildings all look like they're covered in stickers lol.
But of course this is probably from an early build of the game just pushed out for the trailer. So wait and see?
