Also, go to steigerwald, it is one of the places that California Condors are returning to. Check out goldendale on the east side of Washington where there is a crazy museum and life sized stone henge replica. Hoyt arboretum and Portland japanese gardens are great.

My grandpa lives up in Ocean Park. Great place to explore. Check out Cape disappointment, oysterville church and Astoria in one trip. Buy the book "curious gorge", it has a bunch of local knowledge. I grew up going to the 3 mile marker on the washougal river. It is so serene (but busy in summer)

I love these guys. I ended up buying a few pounds of seeds last year and spreading them everywhere.

I realized there is nothing stopping me from running an aux cable from my computer to a cassette deck and making tapes of my playlists. Way cuter than streaming them.

My old lady gets a pill twice a day, two different liquids in her mouth, and a weekly shot so I feel for you! She eventually started eating around the pill, but a feline pill pocket has solved that for me. Just in case you run into that same issue later.
