I’ve spent a lot of time today in a specific comment section on FB, which may have been a bad move HOWEVER the amount of people who expect one teacher to not only educate, but behavior manage, and teach basic respect, to a whole class (if not several) is astonishing

There are so many people saying that sex ed has no place in school, ignoring the overwhelming amount of abuse that is prevalent in todays society (amongst other reasons to be pro sex ed) but leaving teacher who are underpaid and overwork to teach their kids basic human functions.

How do you feel that South Koreas success fits into this? It’s undeniable that it has helped to raise awareness to gender based issues and spark change (whether you feel it’s positive change or not)?

What about the idea that it’s less about what the women can and can’t do (and vise versa) and more about a demonstration of solidarity in the face of an overtly patriarchal society?
