That actually looks really good!

I believe that having the ability to craft basic but good-looking UIs is a skill that every (especially frontend) programmer should have to at the very least a slight degree.

It comes in handy especially for personal projects where you're the designer.

I use netcup VPS, they're an Austrian hosting company which is close to where I live which is why I chose them. Here's the URL, I have the base plan:

I am on my own VPS I rented, that's the thing.

I know it makes things more complicated but on top of wanting to learn, i figured it would also be more flexible...

Hopefully an easier deployment pipeline and a consistent environment.

I'm no expert when it comes to DevOps though so maybe it's not even necessary.

What are your thoughts, do you know more about this?

Oh wow I didn't know that (I'm very new to go, I only started using it a couple of days ago).

Seems interesting.

This seems like a slightly better version of what C does. At least Go has some kind of standard, but in C you also have to explicitly check the returned value for errors (sometimes it's - 1, sometimes it's NULL, but it's similar)

Isn't this kind of "opt in" error handling annoying because you have to keep remembering to handle errors?

Languages like rust on the other hand don't allow you to continue without handling error cases and it also avoids constantly returning these double values.

Evil is subjective.

People who rejoice after a person's death - merely because they differ in opinion from them - are reprehensible.

For new users, I heard that Mint is very user-friendly.

Never thought of using chairs like that.

Great work!

I wouldn't wish death upon anybody, let alone someone like him who was merely speaking about his political views.

He wasn't violent in any physical way and doesn't deserve what happened to him.

May he rest in peace.

I hope the people rejoicing after his death will have time to reflect.
