I live in Arakawa, and I just received a warning (advisory only for now) about flooding. It's raining a lot, and given that the region is below the level of the river, it can be dangerous (tho I don't think that this one will be an issue today)

There was a China festival here in Tokyo, good food and a lot of random tech. I even saw a robot boxing! Amazing vibes like most things with Chinese people :)

I wrote a little bit about the @rustforgeconf.com, looking back, moments I enjoyed the most were listening to people. Everybody had such a different world view and different problems to solve. And I was surprised by how some "big names" were nice to talk to. www.elias.sh/posts/rust-f...

I am really enjoying my time in New Zealand, so many vegan options and people are super nice. My wife is already asking if I can find a job here 🤣

Rust forge conf in Wellington is this week. New Zealand is a nice surprise, I was not expecting such nice people and amazing birds. On the 29/08 I will be talking about how we build an ETL in Rust and the intuition behind the type of tests we used.

Local festival here in Machiya (Tokyo). The thing I most enjoy about those festivals is that they are local. All those people live close to me, we are all one community.
