I was in a book club where we read a novel about a woman who was always going to the ER because she had anxiety about getting sick and none of us could figure out how this character could afford to go to the ER this much…then we looked up the author and realized she was Canadian and it made sense

I think I’ve only been able to hear/understand a total of 10 words during this whole broadcast (and I really don’t think it’s just bc of my hearing loss)
