Not that I’m aware of! A good chunk of the jump after it hit the goal was from Crowd Supply buying some to sell after the campaign. But I dunno, a lot of people just started backing once it reached the goal.

The plan is injection molding! Not 3D printed.

Interesting! I did not, thanks for letting me know! Selling the PCB by itself is… pretty much useless? Not sure who they’re expecting to buy this.

I don’t have the price finalized yet. I think Crowd Supply will be able to charge the tariffs as a separate line item, so approximately 10% more (or 20% more, or any other number based on whatever is in effect).

Just loaded Goodboy Galaxy (32MB, the largest size— most games are 8 or 16 MB) and it took 4 seconds.

And I don’t have a CRT to test with, but the dock should work with an adapter!

I’m not personally planning to write more cores at the moment, but everything is fully open-source, and user-added cores are supported. The XC7A100T FPGA is quite powerful, I think it’s likely than any of those could be supported. Cartridge adapters probably not based on pin count / size.

Hey!

The current plan is to manufacture in the EU, and ship from the US. Based on my understanding of tariff laws, EU customers would not pay any tariffs (as they’re based on the country of origin).

There isn’t yet, but this is definitely something I’m interested in doing. I agree, it makes a difference for sure.
