WIP on the Male Lunar Twilight Knight. Got the colors sketched in and trying to work up the highlights. This is a much brighter mini than I normally do, but it’s nice, as an old Eldar player to make something shiny once in awhile

I tried to lean in to the “elephant” coloring and have him come across as dry and cracked, except for his mouth, which I used a gloss varnish on after I did a matte on the whole model.

At first the dung ball was a bit daunting because the walls are so smooth, there’s nowhere to hide. Ended up using a makeup sponge on it and the carapace of the knight and I really enjoy the result!

I have a love/hate relationship with this mini. I love his facial expression and pose, but many parts of the sculpt are very basic and low-res. They remind me of late 90s GW plastic. That being said, I think turned out pretty good.

The croc is coming along! Almost done glazing skin tones, then I’m starting on the belly and his pustules (gross). His skin is coming out darker than I imagined, but I honestly love it!
