Elves are kinda neat actually ᗜˬᗜ
I'd ask but I'll probably have to continue over discord since who knows how many libs are monitoring this conversation and building profiles on us

Again, opposite with me. I always used to enjoy war movies, same as him, but watching Band of Brothers with him in the room was always a chore since he'd pipe up at every use of the word "fuck"

Maybe it's just the consequence of raising children over time as well

You don't want your kids listening to bad language, you don't watch South Park or something with them. Over time this settles in and it becomes your new preference

Ironically the opposite with my dad. He still wouldn't play GTA, but at least regarding violence and language he's definitely built more of a tolerance towards it. He's probably still less open towards it than he was before I came along

I guarantee the memes I saw once I finally got onto the internet were exactly those except they were funny at the time. Society's evolved, we've changed, things stopped being funny and new things started being funny
November 22, 2024 at 3:09 PM
Well that's just a suspended sense of humour. You could just as well ask why boomers find what they find funny

I'm not a sociologist though, so I can't point to exactly when that happens in life

If I were to guess they just hold a series of inherently contradictory stances and they give in to the cognitive dissonance. Or at least that's what it feels like

Ironically, irl liberals are sometimes fairly nice people until they open their mouths, contrary to how they are on the internet.

I guess I can only really describe it as "extreme anti-extremism"

As a millennial

yeah

That's because they are, it's not rocket science. Though my follow list is also mostly verified real people

I would take Tenshi seriously if I were you, I have had several unpleasant runins and have spent thousands on repairs for humidity damage in my own walls

I wish they weren't so block-happy, now I can't see this

But that might be a good thing, back on the topic of decentralization they're finally figuring out they can tailor what they see
November 22, 2024 at 2:42 PM
And I just realized you realized this
November 22, 2024 at 2:38 PM
Tensh it's already tomorrow afternoon
November 22, 2024 at 2:37 PM
You wish nobody there was. But that's fair
November 22, 2024 at 2:36 PM
I don't think it's in our nature as social beings to decentralize just because, even if it would work out better
