We have received a nice large restock of silk charmeuse in solid color. Here is the range of yellows, greens and blues we processed into our stock today. These are all 100% silk crepe back satin. That means one side has a matte finish and the other side has a satin finish

We got all dressed up to attend a beach wedding today. First up a natural to white linen panel with a beautiful and subtle gradation in the middle. The hand is light and soft and slightly sheer like a handkerchief linen. On the right she wears a new linen jersey knit in white

Today on the dress form we have focused our color palette around this beautiful, looser weave wool blend bouclé plaid. This would make a fun Chanel style jacket. It’s shown paired with a luscious viscose satin from Italy in purple but our stretch silk charmeuse in shocking pink is also perfect

I am relieved to let you know that Elfriede had her knee replacement surgery yesterday and that it went smoothly. She is home now and well tended by her sister from Germany! In the meantime I would like to introduce you to Amara. She will be helping us while Elfriede recuperates from surgery.

Beat as One silk twill set the color scheme today, taupe with a couple shades of pink. Carnation Pink silk dupioni is a dream to drape with. It pleats and drapes, breaks and falls and glows in the sun. Here it is paired with Pantone’s color of the year Mocha Mousse in billowing silk taffeta.
