I can't get over how bad the third one is. Older generation of manga/anime artists grew up drawing humans, newer generation just wanted to draw anime heads as fast as possible.

The absolute Lost Highway Lynchian horror of Fancy Lala episode 12. I seriously did not see this coming - our main character meets her own alter ego, her family doesn't know who she is and she's chased through a circus. Could be one of those "What's the scariest non horror TV episode" in Japan.
