Using the glass saw means the shapes can be cut nearly intact. The inward curves are too sharp to be cut by hand, so usually I cut them into smaller shapes. That isn't necessarily a *bad* thing. The "3" shape has stress points & is more prone to cracking if the finished piece is handled roughly.
