Man, I really miss the old version. The atmosphere down there is still solid but the refurb was a significant downgrade.

I'd always seen their games and have them all wishlisted - just hadn't taken the plunge until now. Definitely will once I've finished Angeline.

How wacky is it compared to say Nonary Games or Danganronpa? I'm a big fan of the former but have always passed over the latter as it seems to lean a bit too much into wacky anime tropes for me.

Man, we're still uncertain about including Epic in our January trip. As cool as the park looks, the attraction lineup as it currently stands seems to be a pretty mixed bag, wait times & poor operations are still a problem, and the value just doesn't seem to be there considering the price.

I think I'll stick to Europa Park :)

That sounds about right for PortAventura from what I've heard - attraction lineup looks decent but I've never heard a single positive thing about operations.

Yeah it's pretty renowned for being poorly designed.

I can only complete parlor/billiard puzzles so many dozen times before I'm completely sick of them - and having to draft increasingly specific combinations of rooms to test a hypothesis gets frustrating when it...just doesn't happen even with dozens of hours of game knowledge behind you.

They did a beautiful job with the rebuild but I do miss the caverns - great lighting and I loved the walk-through path even if I did always trip several times 😅

Huh, not a park I've had on my radar. Doing a Phantasialand/Europa Park/Efteling trip in May but may have to consider adding on Walibi to future trips.
