History buffs will know that every authoritarian leader eventually converges on some version of: "I *am* the state. I can not break the law, I am the law, the law is instantiated in me."

Our march to authoritarianism so far has been excruciatingly by-the-book. Hitting every beat. No surprises.

The hypocrisy of the Kemi Badenoch in calling for a public inquiry into sexual abuse gangs after her party failed to implement any of the recommendations of the previous public inquiry is frankly amazing. They had zero interest in the subject when they were in power.

While larger companies have managed to adapt to new Brexit trading barriers (Marks and Spencer opened a warehouse *just* for post-Brexit paperwork) smaller companies have been hit incredibly hard. And this is BEFORE GPSR came into effect.
