but what truly didn't work out were the characters. They were just watered down versions of themselves and it's weird because Rick was a huge part of the process.
So compared to pjo, atla actually did a lot of great stuff.

Adaptations are tricky. With pjo for example it definitely didn't work out. I know those books like the back of my hand, I grew up with them, they're the reason I'm a reader. And that show is just a pale comparison to the story. The pacing and the humor are bad
