This is scripted theater between Trump & Elon. For Elon, it's an attempt to gain back some lost Tesla buyers by "turning" on Trump. For Trump the new "party" will strip votes from the Democratic candidate.

Resigning and/or getting fired are noble, but they're just ultimately replaced with people who won't stand up to him. What we needed was an aggressive DOJ under Biden and Republicans to actually say in public what they say behind closed doors.
