Republicans can -and already have- changed procedural rules to pass things with a simple majority. They have the votes to do that, they refuse to do it because ruining the government and hurting people is more important than anything else besides profit to them.

Republicans control the House, Senate, and Presidency.

I also liked the Arrowverse and did not mean is as a slight to The Flash. I meant it as The Flash is a comic and no one really expected to take it seriously, especially given the prior 90's Flash show. To me, CW Flash feels more true to the source than WoT does.

TBH, I was expecting WoT to be some power fantasy show and at least I was wrong about that. I just hoped the source material would've been given more weight than The Flash.

For me, 3 episodes in I get the feel of a CW show. Instead of the complications and workings of relationship we see false attachment and sex for the sake of it. I mean, Egwene and Rand in episode 1?

I did watch more than 60 seconds, so far 3 episodes which I'll admit doesn't make me a subject matter expert.

That little paradox doesn't even compare to the people running the GoFundMe for talking about saving WoT. Theyre not funding WoT, theyre talking about it and they're siphoning money away from the masses that can do something to fund it (more Prime subs).

It also seems there's a big overlap with the 'save WoT' group and the 'boycott Amazon because theyre terrible' group.

Those two positions are mutually exclusive, because one requires more people to spend and the other requires people don't spend.

Its all well and good he had a moment of realization but his policies don't line up even slightly with a non-republican platform. This reeks of "I know R's will get creamed so I have to change this to stay in power".
