Yep, right next to Antioch. There is a lot of protected land around and a lot of farmland. Come during cherry season (typically mid May to early June). There are farm stands all around for most of the year and an awesome farmers market every Saturday. I know how spoiled I am with the amazing produce

Yeah… Brentwood in LA is a neighborhood. The City of Brentwood is the U-pick capital and has vast farmland in the Delta where the San Joaquin and Sacramento rivers empty into the San Francisco Bay. #themoreyouknow

Same. Mine is a teen and we are counting on CA to be a safe haven. The second it’s not, we’re gone. Some of Newsom’s views have been concerning and I really hope he evolves on them.

Totally agree. I had a conservative poly sci prof once that was a typical “drill baby drill” type and I presented my argument from an “even if climate change was a hoax, these are the other ways we would benefit from clean energy” standpoint and he said I actually swayed him a bit.

I was just thinking about this. I have a flight Friday that was planned months ago. *Can* we do more? Can I give TSA at security some cookies or something? Is cash allowed?
