Think the trend lasted longer in the Midlands, I remember having increasing sizes of blue ones until the early 80s.
You could never get the damn thing folded neatly into the pocket again, though, and they had that musty smell after getting wet a few times and not drying properly.

Anton stayed at my mum's boarding house near Birmingham for awhile in the 70s. She's 89 and frail now, but still goes on about how he was one of the best 'boys' we had lodging with us. Says a lot :)

And to top it all off, one of the other guys from the housing block turned up at five in the morning absolutely off his face on speed. Walked into my friend's bedroom, woke us both up and would not shut the hell up.

Never had a gummie but I overdid it once on resin (way back when in the 90s). Was on crutches at the time for a dislocated knee and we were at a friend's uni flat on the second floor (no lift). Yeah, that was a bad night even after I'd stopped vomiting. Had to sleep on the floor in his room.

I've learned the school layout now, but I'm still hiding in the corner of the library watching people over the top of a book. Seems like a better school but you know, the last one was pretty bad so I'm cautious.

Yeah, but it'll be worth it. There's those of us who've been waiting pretty much since our blue boy first appeared in print. We can wait a little longer. :)

Aww, those eyes. Hope she feels better soon. Whenever we've had older pets needing extractions, they've been a lot better for it once they've recovered.

Over the last couple of years, I had to set aside a portion of my time to blocking hateful people/bots, in addition to blocklists.
It got too much.
I'm sure at some point I'll have to start blocking fuckers again, but it's blissfully peaceful and good vibey right now.
