It's beautiful, have you thought about exploring this with more dynamic lighting? Like the Sun shining through the stained glass

Heroes, all of you

>You're accusing me of something I demonstrably did
>And that's insulting for me, despite being totally fair
>So we're not so different after all 🤗
Just a full, complete absence of values.
There's no moral compass in her head, just a map from A to B with people on the way.

I don't think this is salvageable in the next 10 years. Trade will resume, but public image is burnt.
After that it becomes harder since the hundreds of small near-invisble offices assuring inter-cooperation on things like intelligence, food programs, student exchange, will be significantly weakened

There is a part of society that is both totally unaware of the realities of the world, and plans to remain that way.
Understandable, reality sucks.
But putting stuff like this in front of them is probably the best way to show them what they're silently supporting.

If my browsing history ever leaks, I'm going to be sweating bullets explaining why I spend 1/3 of my waking time watching dogs being adorable

I also want to recommend Outer Wilds and the DLC: Echoes of The Eye, there is a specific part that looks very similar.
It's also one of the best games I've ever played, the setting is gorgeous and the story can be very emotional.

I watched the video, they gave her multiple opportunities to criticize the war and her father, and she took none of them.

The assurances that she's anti-war come from her Russian friends at the gallery - they're also in the video. Her actions clearly show otherwise.

I watched the full video, they gave her several opportunities to say "that's not my father" or "I'm against the war", and she took none of them.
Then she had this little gem to say.
It's a YouTube translation through a paper mask, but still.

To be fair, the contempt from the journalist was palpable here.
But no, I don't think it's just that. There's a level of shamelessness that just wasn't there before. I think reporters still don't know what to say because this just isn't normal.

same, sis

It's wild that "idk" just became a normal, acceptable response from top politicians to major decisions.

I love that he tracks deadly military strikes with the same level of attention I have to how many times I go to the bathroom in a day.

Actually yeah, some of the stuff they repost I remember from seeing as an edgy teen.
I never thought I'd outgrew the White House in terms of humor.
Also I've never been this bothered by a profile pic, I want to take a power drill into my browsing history.

You can absolutely use it properly, and there are several examples of it
But anything it achieves can and IMO *should* be obtained through proper democracy.
People can use near-unlimited power for good, but we should still avoid it.
Pardon people through laws.
December 2, 2025 at 5:30 PM
I can't think of any. There's some unfair rulings, and absolutely getting an innocent person through PP is much faster, but that's because the Justice System itself is slow and inefficient. And a PP feels like a lazy way to keep not fixing that, while also adding several other problems.
December 2, 2025 at 12:37 PM
The concept of a Presidential Pardon is bullshit in general.

>You have the right to a trial ruled by tens of thousands of laws, through hundreds of years of years of experience, all to arrive at a consensus of truth.

>Or a dude signs a paper and you're free lol.

Just call it monarchy.

There are some exercises for trauma processing that can help.
It's based on the idea that a gazelle literally "shakes it off" after almost being killed and eaten.
You have to get your core and leg muscles to be very tired, and under tension the shaking helps release that emotion.

I know this sounds horrible, but glass-half-full, it's MUCH BETTER that these people are stupid enough to make these statements publicly.
It's important because this can't be taken back.
It's a lot more dangerous when you don't know who in a PTA meeting supports dismemberment.
