We tagged 7 sixgill bluntnose sharks 🦈 and got fin samples and cloacal swabs for diet 🍽️ and genetic studies🧬

🦈 New paper showing how juvenile white #sharks and shortfin makos coexist in the Tunisian Plateau… one more step towards understanding and conserving these Critically Endangered species in the #Mediterranean

Last April, I presented part of my PhD work exploring the drivers of trophic niche partitioning among pelagic #TopPredators, like swordfish, blue and mako sharks, at the Spanish Elasmobranch Network meeting 🦈

What an opportunity to discuss key topics in #shark and ray research and #conservation!

Wrapping up a whole week of attending and teaching at the "Trophic ecology of marine organisms in past, present and future ecosystems" Workshop at @icmcsic.bsky.social organized by @imares-group.bsky.social, so excited to see the outputs 🌊
