One big update can still come in the form of 3-4 drops.
They could for instance take the first live event of the year, announce that this year’s drops will all/mostly be themed around one thing.
And then everyone knows it’s one big thing, cut into 3-4 drops, and it’s all good.
You take a slice of cake and cut it into 4 bites, it’s still one slice.

There is nothing stopping them from theming several drops in a row to be about the same thing. It’s so simple.

I would guess it would just go to the next number, since they don’t have the week number in the id anymore.

Yeah, the drawings themselves are fun and cute, so why pretend they are cat breeds that they aren’t.
They could have had fun names instead, like bean and nugget.
Also, it’s not entirely impossible that an artist drew these, and someone else added the nonsense labels.

I bet it would have been way more off if scripted. If scripted, you got to focus on a piece of paper, not think, it’s way more difficult to get the right rhythm. Getting the right flow.
