If it were incompetence, it would be resolvable and maybe even forgivable.

The "mainstream" media's purpose is not to hold the powerful accountable. It is to promote and defend the narratives that maintain power for the powerful and hold the rest of us accountable to that power.

I am picturing what Toyota did to the RAV4. Turned a decent SUV into a modern HatchWagon (there should be some rules for what can be called an SUV and all these modern HatchWagons are not it).

If the Honda Element comes back, I hope it is not in name only.

One of these things is not like the other
An early model Toyota RAV4, passenger side view. The RAV4 is a small boxy SUV with a steeply angled windshield wide expanses of side glass with small upper doorframes and narrow roof pillars with a slightly wider pillar at the back end. It is a 4 door vehicle in a dark green but brightly lit by the sun which is reflecting off the upper rear behind the back (cargo area) window. The bottom half of the doors are clad in gray plastic which wraps across the front and rear fenders and meets the bumpers in the front and back. A recent model Toyota RAV4, driver side view. The updated RAV4 is a small modern "SUV" (which in my opinion is more of a chopped off station wagon with a hatchback, I consider them HatchWagons) with a shallow angled windshield, wide door glass but a nearly nonexistent cargo area side glass due to the rear hatch and glass which is at shallower than a 45 degree angle. It is a 4 door vehicle in a dark olive green in front of a rocky background with some snow and a waterfall. The very bottom of the doors have a narrow band of dark gray plastic which wraps around the edge of the front and rear fenders.

The word "APARTHEID" in capital letters in a typeface with square corners, no serifs, and moderately thick strokes. At the bottom of the right side the line curves up to the left and forms a loop in the center of the design before continuing down and to the left to connect with the bottom of the left stroke. The logo is in a slightly brighter red with no white smudges. Air B&B is part of the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions campaign due to its rental of illegal settlement properties in the West Bank.
