I should add that, less than two years later, Lavoisier was exonerated by the French government.

The eminent French Chemist, Antoine Lavoisier, was among those led to the guillotine in 1794. His friend and colleague, French mathematician Joseph-Louis Lagrange, lamented the loss. ‘It took them only an instant to cut off that head, and a hundred years may not produce another like it’.

I have adrenergic, as far as I can tell. Had a good, active day yesterday, today I am very very dizzy.

I think it’s even simpler (more trivial? 😊) than that: Opposites attract. Coulomb’s law describes the force between unlike charges. I do think it’s interesting to think about what the universe would be like if atoms were not neutral ( stabilized). Do you?

My hope is that he will be laughed out of court.

Willy nilly collisions, fast and furious chemical events would ensue. Could any structures stand the test of time? And what of the things we know and love: The suns, the planets, and the species that inhabit them? I reckon they would not exist at all.
Your thoughts?

Here are my thoughts… If atoms were not stabilized in this way, they would get no get no rest at all. Rather, they would incessantly chase after, or run from, other bodies that attract or repel them.

I say no to supporting a corrupt regime. But it seems like it could sneak up on an individual involved in any field.

I too have been following 'stirgate'. I was especially interested in the article that suggested these little guys could be used as catalysts. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
Turning Teflon-coated magnetic stirring bars to catalyst systems with metal nanoparticle trace deposits – A caveat and a chance
It could be an unintentional effect to deposit metal nanoparticles on a simple Teflon-coated magnetic stirring bar. Rhodium nanoparticles, as an examp…
