This is the birthday present I bought myself. 😁 I am a champion note maker but that means they are a mess and I lose stuff. Been playing with it for about a day and I think it will be life changing. I also really want to get writing fic again but I’m one of those people whose brain really connects..

Vendor where I got the white trash kitty & the white knife kitty: “Oh! Do you have a white kitty?”

Me: “Uh… no, I just like them.” 😳 (Tho maybe I should have just said, yes and her name is Alpine! 😆)

LRP: when I was a kid we had a husky/border collie mix. I loved her w/all my heart &she lived to be ~16. She was the smartest dog I’ve ever met. We also had another dog that was a Samoyed/collie mix, she was beautiful, sweet and so loving. Their respective personalities are summed up in that vid. 🤣🥰

Made a big batch of avocado chocolate mousse and it came out so good!!! 😮😋 Did a combo of honey and maple syrup for the ‘sweetener’ and added cinnamon this time. OMG it is so good!! 🥣

Apparently I have a new friend? I had to look him up and I’m going with house centipede. Which, cool, eat those bugs for me, housemate! Now to just make sure I can keep the cat away!!

And it’s just another reminder of how Feige/the MCU betrayed Steve Rogers and his core beliefs with that “picket fence” ending. Because fascism knows how important this kind of storytelling is, so they had to try to corrupt it. But Steve isn’t theirs, he’s ours.
Steve Rogers: I’m loyal to nothing except the dream. I actually said that once. Here’s the thing about a dream though. A dream isn’t real. When we wake up it goes away. And we’re left with this yearning inside. Like something was taken from us. At least that’s one kind of dream. But lately- - spending my days in this country, as the years march on by- - I’m starting to think America actually has two dreams. And one lie. Steve Rogers: This is the white picket fence fallacy. That, if we’re not careful becomes nationalism. Jingoism. That dream isn’t real. It never was. Because that dream doesn’t get along nicely with reality. Other cultures. Immigrants. The poor. The suffering. People easily come to be seen as ‘different’ or ‘unamerican.’ The white picket fence becomes a gate to keep others out. We’re at our best when we keep NO ONE out. A good dream is shared. Shared radically. Shared with everyone. When something isn’t shared, it can become the American lie.
