I signed up for four days of catering my daughter's film set, 15-17 cast and crew. That's 56 custom pizza baguettes+salad, and 80 Mexican street style quesadillas (4 flavours). Salad bar and chicken+ rice are next. Set food is notoriously bad so they've been loving it. Props to prep cooks!

At brunch today, I had the privilege of watching a middle aged man shower untasted eggs and potatoes with 3 days worth of sodium, pour ketchup on the eggs and about 1/8 cup of table syrup on his 3 strips of bacon. Washed it down with 2 cans of 7up. I give him 2 more years on earth tops. #foodie

In the process of triaging the family home now that it is sold. The kitchen and living room looks like a rummage sale, piles for silver, cut glass, whiteware, painted ceramics, earthenware. For someone who rarely entertained mom sure was well stocked. #moving

We did it! The wall of doom has been cleared. The snowpack changed - the bank shattered in big blocks today, allowing us to haul it away piece by piece. Next challenge: getting the car out to the road with zero visibility over the banks. #montreal #snowstorm #winter

Tuesday: daughter gets norovirus. Thursday, husband gets norovirus, I deal with 30 cm of snow, which is a big deal on my urban lot. Sunday at 130 am, I get norovirus, and 50 cm of snow with extremely high winds is attacking us. There will be no shoveling today. #norovirus #montreal
