I think the world learned about russia for now. So in long shot, we all will be better prepared, than 10 years ago. It takes a long time for russia to attack NATO member, with a slight chance for a success. If it happens, we are more ready.

I do not think we need the EU army. NATO in the EU can increase the size of the fast response units and that's it. Plus some NATO units move, even when there are only small threat in theory. Just like today.

russian tank army have taken losses in Ukraine. So at the moment they are not capable to attack Finland. In the future, maybe. That's why Generals make plans during the peacetime.

Ukraine is not occupied by russia. russia can't even help Armenia and Syria. Loosing positions in Africa.
