Tiny sketchbooking

A mess lol The planner is underneath cut golden cardboard and onion skin calendar page. Cut pieces of the gold cardboard are on the planner, and some more cardboard packaging is peeking from the side Collage taking shape. I've cut most of the gold cardboard for the leaves and I'm laying it out on the cover of the planner. There is red paper underneath it, from the calendar, and some of the fish are already cut out and laid out on the cover. The planner again, all done and with its protective cover

It's a little wonky and the last few pages are honestly holding on for dear life- i used washi tape to secure them- but it's still serving me well

About time I try to draw horses,,why r their joints like that
Horse studies. I used yellow as their coat color with the pinks and blues as the shadows and darker markings of the horses. Blue background for both to contrast the warm colors Horse study 2- horse is rearing up on its hind legs. I wanted to use blue as the base of its coat but it was too dark. Opted for the pinkish orange coat with white and yellow highlights, blending blue for the shadows. I did a yellow wash for the background to tie it all together

I only brought a few colors with me that weekend to force myself to do limited palettes lmao 😖
Lots of marks on this page because I kept trying to layer inks over crayons (the crayons clog up the nibs...dont do this!!) On the left side are the colors I brought with me: cmyk + pinks and purple. The first drawing is a color study based on a photo, just testing out how the colors might imitate the translucency of water with my limited palette Second is a goldfish, where I tried to layer the crayons over posca Third drawing, I tried to do more complicated shapes with a sea dragon Suns, moons and stars on a blue background. I was just killing time with this lmao
