Finding ways to say ‘look at my friend’s work, because it and they are brilliant’ is a goal, tbh

I don’t know, but I had it last night and I’m still thinking about it.

On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me: six geese-a-laying, FIVE GOLD RINGS, four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree. Goose, calling bird, hen, dove, partridge and pear omelette. Yum.

In our current kitchen with v little counter space, I once had a Rube Goldberg-esque situation where I poured scalding hot gravy into a bowl, which tipped and cascaded gravy onto my hand and then into a fresh-from-the-oven pan of walnut rum brownies. I’m still mad about the brownies.

I made pumpkin pie filling in my grandma’s giant-ass Pyrex mixing bowl, then tried to pick up the fully loaded bowl to pour into the shells. I dropped the bowl into the first one. The kitchen and I looked like a pumpkin spice bomb had gone off. I found drips of filling for WEEKS.
