I fully agree that the minimum wage is an utter disgrace and betrayal to the workers across the United States, not only has it greatly increased poverty across the United States; there is another and even more detrimental failure; insurance and pension's provided by employers.

The 'Big Beautiful Bill' is anything but, it will affect the countries Bond and Treasury worth; this means those countries such as Japan and China who the United States Government owes money can demand payment if they feel the country could default.

Mr. Rogers, Jim Henson, and even the Saturday Morning Cartoons all gave children something, it was a capsule of time to be a child. To learn, wonder, explore, and feel seen. When my own children, Gen Z, were small, we sat down together and watched PBS in the afternoons, my parents hadn't done that.

When I see the Cabinet surrounding President Trump around that massive table, I would love to see the ideal of Camelot, it was so romanticized after President Kennedy was murdered. Maybe RFK, Jr. is supposed to have that stardust, but he is a depleted and corrupt cauldron of self-delusion.

When a person votes, that is a special occasion, we have forgotten the first time we voted and how powerful we felt.

When we vote, that is power, that is why gerrymandering happens, why voter suppression happens, why people stand in lines during a pandemic, because that is Our Right.

When Trump said little girls could do with less, that really irritated me.

It was the 1950s and women who had worked while the men were at war, now being displaced and defunded by the men they had worked hard to support during the war.

The little boys weren't asked to reduce, no, we wouldn't

Don't we all wonder what Roy Cohn taught the impressionable Donald Trump? A man who had watched a country brought down to it's knees by the fear of Communism and McCarthyism. I think we are seeing it in real time, my fellow citizens.

How Turd has decorated the Oval Office really shows how poor he comes from because only lack of means would find his display impressive. That coveting must keep him very motivated, because it isn't the Presidency, nor the United States, but trying to be in a High School Clique of 60 years ago?

Since the day after the election, I felt stupefied, like my brain wanted to work and my hands wanted to raise but the situation seemed so diabolical that I couldn't take it in. Then the inauguration happened with the Bros and Turd, that struck me as obscene and vulgar. It seemed tasteless, tawdry,

The year of the 2024 election was fought with many fractions and ideals gasping to be heard. It came down to two persons: Kamala and Donald. Rather than beating about the unchosen choice, let's set about lessening the corrosion that was elected.

When Trump kept yelling about how, "Rich we were going to be." I was wondering who he meant. I did suppose it wasn't the 90 % of the population, somebody has to clean up after the stock goes through the streets. Those billionaires care not for any but their reflection they superimpose around them.

Robert Reich, Heather Cox Richardson, and blessedly the Sub stack are individuals of character who are questioning those who have slipped from the core of democracy and lurched into the dark matter they seek without reason or principle.

Integrity and honesty were once valued and held in high esteem, although these qualities often appear lacking in those who value money and golden calves more than human lives. We all have people in our lives who live here at other's peril.

I had a Mom who reminded me throughout my life, "If you have nothing nice to say, stay quiet." It is such a shame that Donald J. Trump's Mom didn't love him enough to teach him kindness.

Remember when we were kids and you had the MAGIC SLATE PAPER SAVERS, you could write anything, then magically erase it? I wonder if we could do that with the 2024 Election? Or even all those interesting black felt signatures of Trump signing all the E.O.'s that technically aren't even legal?
