One of the many memorable moments in the mountains. Just leaving the summit of Mt. Baker as the sun is starting to go down. We descended in pitch black with no moonlight to show the way. Part way down I caught a glimpse of mars poking out between some spires on the Black Buttes. Pretty cool.

Long ago my neighbour gave me some fossils he found in the Pembina Escarpment, Manitoba. This vertebra is about 7cm long. Also have a jawbone and misc bits. I have been meaning to find out if they are of any academic interest. Probably not due to the lack of detailed information on the location.
