But for ability to import externally digital synthesized tracks, Audacity's easy to use.
I.e., working on inventing new "instruments" via harmonics-dynamics analysis. Even percussion.

I threw out ALL "philosophies" years ago when realizing what science really is. Sagan encapsulated half but not all of the essence of science. E.g., falsifiability.
