Transpla is so fun, though some pieces were annoying and others were difficult to snap together. 8/10 kit.

On a 4:3 shot, the framing makes it about 2:3 centered in the middle. The Gundam is descending with its beam saber extended. Its target is a machine turret that has descended into a bunker with the doors held ajar by the Gundam's thrown shield.

Gundam 0079 episode 18 just brought us the RAWEST line, holy shit.
A wounded Zeon Soldier lies down using his jacket as a pillow. He's recently been given water and minor medical attention from Amuro. He speaks to Amuro as he leaves, saying "If you said you were the pilot of that mobile suit -" 1/4 "-I'd find it hard to believe." 2/4 "But if you are, don't go soft on your enemy." 3/4 "You don't have enough lives for that." 4/4 Amuro is now in shot, looking back over his shoulder at the soldier. He's visibly shocked by these words.

So is this this like... normal for BBTS? It's been almost 7 months since I pre-ordered this and the ETA quarter keeps changing. I imagine it's a gunpla shortage but dang.

Gundam episode 12-15 images pt 2
A group of orphan children in front of the Core Fighter, cockpit open from Amuro just arriving. The children are normal looking except for the child on the far right, who has a federation soldier helmet that doesn't fit his head and a gun shoved in the front of his pants. Amuro, holding a gun with shaking hands as he sweats profusely and processes what he's just done. His mom looks on with her hands together, clearly disturbed by her son's actions. "Amuro, I don't remember bringing you up to be like this." Amuro's mom says this despite not bringing Amuro up at all~ *sips tea* "Maybe it's because he was raised by a man." Tomino inserts some gender essentialism into Amuro's Mom! Thankfully this isn't a big scene but it does hammer home how little she views him as her son despite her words.
