That's great news! Your site is a great help to follow along as they open up stations. BTW, your site lists East Greenwich, RI twice - first June 13 last year, and again Sep 9 this year.

@alyankovic.bsky.social I know you don't usually take suggestions, but...

Been looking forward to AZ filling out, especially Holbrook! Thanks for keeping track. Quick note: your big list seems to have East Greenwich, RI twice - once dated June 13 last year, and then added again recently on Sep 9.

10/10. 1990, The Gods Must Be Crazy II. Once again seen with my Dad, this time in an old movie theater in NorCal that had seen *much* better days, in a town I only lived in for that summer.

8. 1986, Labyrinth. Rode my bike alone to an old-time movie palace which closed the following year. Now being restored!
9. 1994, various. Small town's only multiplex, grand opening. A different movie on each screen, all free for employees & guests. Came home with posters & a Speed tank top.

6. 2015, Tomorrowland. Our kids' first drive-in experience, on summer vacation visiting our old home town, at a vintage drive-in that closed forever 6 weeks later.
7. 2003, Gigantic (A Tale of Two Johns). A screening followed by Q&A with the director and one John.

4. 2003, The Matrix Reloaded. Seen on a massive IMAX screen at the Luxor in Las Vegas. The seating in that theater was nearly vertical.
5. 1984, The Gods Must Be Crazy. First 'foreign' film I ever saw in a theater, at a multiplex with my Dad. Found $20 on the sidewalk on our way out.

2. 2014, The Princess Bride, Palace Theatre L.A. A screening followed by stories/Q&A/book signing by Cary Elwes. So much fun hearing the stories with other fans in a vintage theater.
3. 2014, Casablanca. Seen at The Smith Center with music by the Las Vegas Philharmonic, on Valentine's Day. Magical.

1/10. 2003, Lord of the Rings, Trilogy Tuesday. Extended versions of the first 2 films followed by the premier of the third. 12 hours, same seats kept throughout, and we could leave the theater between movies and come back with whatever food we wanted. Cosplay, reverie, and surprise gift at the end!

I don't know if you saw the other message but we are indeed going to the Cucamonga car show. Heading down to SoCal today.

Unfortunately not. Jess has surgery on the 18th as part of her cancer treatment so we're stuck close to home. That has also kept us from attending the 66 Road Fest in Tulsa. Next trip is the Cucamonga car show on the 28th, if Jess is feeling up to it by then.

The curtains were from the Tonight Show, Johnny Carson era. The slot in the back of the medicine cabinet was to put used razor blades in. (they would just fall down to the bottom inside the wall and stay there, FOREVER.)

It's a pattern burned into their finger. I knew all but one of the things, and about 90% from actual usage. But I don't need a quiz to know I'm old; my back reminds me early each morning.

And still not as good as Picasa which it sought to replace.

In Con Air, the crashing plane flies southbound along the LV strip, then NB, then SB again, then into a sign a mile east of the strip, then SB on the strip again, then touches down NB, then EB on Flamingo, SB strip again, EB Flamingo again, EB downtown (5 miles away), then NB strip again.
