think Adams would have gotten it. Katie Kingsbury is much more centrist than Mara Gay who used to have more pull on the local endorsements

This campaign--and it is clearly a campaign--is now continuing in The Hollywood Reporter (see their homepage). It is very clearly an attempt to blame the movie's failure on her expressed politics. It's astonishingly graceless, and it's not honest.
