Final tally... The KLR is fine, but I got to ride the bike home with 3 fractures in my right leg. I had surgery on Jan 9th to install some new plates and screws to hold things in place.
It sucks because I had some things I wanted to do early this year... but we live and we learn. It's all good :)

One old adage I believe to my very core: “Never argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!”
Some people can’t be reasoned with, and it’s not anyone’s responsibility to beat their head against that particular wall, trying to do so.
