There’s really ton of fronts world is improving on, it just feels like it’s not because of chaos and horror happening right now. As much as we want, there isn’t always forward progress, sometimes there’s major setbacks, but over time quality of life improves in world for this inhabiting our planet.

Media doesn’t show world getting better because it doesn’t generate views. Easy to get caught up in this thinking, but it’s not true. Moral arc of history isn’t always moving forward at all times.

No, because TX34 already proved futility in reading anything into an election held before presidential general election when Hispanics/Latinos don’t turnout. GOP flipped it in special, but Dems won by 9 in Nov. There’s no correlation between a low turnout election + highest turnout general election.

My mantra is: always push for better, but never criticize good.
Otherwise more people won’t join the cause if all they get in return is being told “you’re not doing enough” or “you should have joined earlier”. A movement’s power comes from addition, not perfection. I say this as LGBTQ+ person too.
